The Foreign Language Proficiency requirement is part of the GEP. The NC Comprehensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) states that if a student has met the tenants of the CAA agreement (completed an Asoociate of Science or Associate of Arts degree at a NC Community College) then all of their general education requirements are to be filled upon admission to a UNC four-year institution.
