FAQ's

  1. Can a GEP course that will only fulfill a GEP co-requisite category (Global Knowledge or US Diversity) and will not double-count toward any other GEP or Major requirement be taken for credit-only?  No, a student cannot elect to take a GEP course for credit-only (S/U grading) and have it fulfill the General Education Program co-requisite requirement. If the course is only graded on an S/U basis, the course will count in fulfilling the GEP requirement. For more information on credit-only courses refer to the University Regulation on Credit-Only Courses.
  2. Courses selected from the GEP Physical Education/Healthy Living course list may be taken for credit-only (S/U grading) and will fulfill the GEP requirement.
